Within Smart Farming World project, the technological basis was developed to intelligently network data from agricultural processes and influencing variables across manufacturers and organizations. This enables e.g. to offer setting optimizations for harvesting machines, improved fertilization strategies or faster support in the event of machine malfunctions through remote diagnostics through smart services. With the nPotato use case, an intelligent potato was developed for harvest optimization in real time, which not only provides the farmer with the current quality status of his crop but also provides AI-based forecasts of future potato prices within an economic view.
