At the beginning of 2017, many in our industry did not know where the IP-journey would take us. Over the year a lot became clearer, but not everything. Although IP is a technology the current changes go well beyond this. The entire media supply chain must now be considered in the new multi-media environment. The range of issues for discussion are diverse and they present enormous opportunities as well as great challenges and risks for all market participants.

At the TECHNOLOGY INNOVATION DAYS 2018, the technological partners Lawo, Sony, and Rohde & Schwarz will inform you about the latest trends in broadcast and media and address the challenges presented in today's multimedia environment.

Discuss your views with industry experts and leading technology providers. Get up to speed with the current state-of-affairs and network with colleagues and market associates who face similar challenges.

Day 1
On the first day our experts will present keynote lectures discussing the pressing issues and approaches in broadcasting and the media. Among others, central questions will include: why use IP in production? what is the benefit of IMF for broadcasting? how do I monetize my content, and how do I automate and deliver the content on all platforms?

Day 2
The second day of the event is a workshop that builds on the first day, with the target audience being users, producers, technicians and editors. We will not only conduct technical discussions, but user-related aspects will also be discussed. What new, improved and innovative workflows and use cases can/should result from the use of the new technologies in production?
